Get Involved

Become A Member

The easiest way to get involved with Surfrider is to become a member. Starting at $25/year, your membership dues directly fund Surfrider programs and campaigns.

Simply donating to our chapter makes a huge difference! Your contributions go towards purchasing beach cleanup supplies, educational materials, blue water task force supplies, leadership development for our volunteers, and our ability to support our programs and campaigns. You can donate directly to our chapter by clicking on the Give button at the top of the page and selecting “To Olympic Peninsula Chapter” under Other Ways to Give.

Sign up for our Newsletter

At the bottom of the screen you can enter you email address to sign up for our monthly newsletter and stay up-to-date on chapter activities and events! You can also follow us on social media (Facebook and Instagram).

Surfrider is grassroots, meaning we run on volunteer efforts in our local communities to create positive and lasting change. We can always use your help! There are a number of ways you can volunteer, and we are happy to work with you to find opportunities that align with your interests. Email us at opcsurfrider@gmail.com if you’re interested in volunteering, have a unique skillset you’d like to offer help with, or just a great idea!

Come to our meetings

We have monthly Chapter meetings on the first Wednesday of every month at 6:30 pm. In normal times, we meet at Smuggler’s Landing in Port Angeles, but right now we’re meeting virtually. Sign up for our newsletter and follow us on social media to learn about our virtual meetings. We often have guest speakers on a wide range of topics, so bring a friend and learn something new!

Join our Executive Committee

The Executive Committee meets once a month to plan chapter events and identify priorities. If you want to level up your activism, consider joining us at one of our monthly EC meetings to see what goes on behind the scenes!
