International Surfing Day is just a month and a half away! On June
20th, beachgoers and surf enthusiasts from around the world will come
together to celebrate the Surfrider Foundation’s 10-Year Anniversary of

Our local OP Chapter will be hosting an International Surfing Day celebration
at a local winery with good music, great food and guaranteed fun. Come to
the May meeting to learn more!
We will also be providing updates on the LaFarage property, PA landfill, coastal
cleanups, state and national Surfrider updates, and much
more!
While completing her master's degree in Sustainable Development & Conservation Biology from the University of Maryland, Liz taught sustainability to undergraduate students while also volunteering as a docent at the Smithsonian Natural History Museum’s Ocean Hall. As Surfrider's Washington and Alaska Regional Manager, she supports the organization's five Washington chapters, three BC chapters, and Kenai Peninsula Chapter in their amazing work.
